Our Civic Road campus consists of four buildings on six shady acres, providing our older students with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to study, garden, exercise, play and discover in a comfortable, natural setting.
Civic Road is home to one Lower Elementary classroom (ages 6 to 9 years), one Upper Elementary classroom (ages 9 to 12 years), and one Adolescent Program classroom (ages 12 – 15 years). The CMS business office, development office, and library are also on the Civic Road grounds.
Larger classrooms and work spaces accommodate our older students and their broader variety of activities- mathematics, language, science, history, music, art and more. Still using the unique materials and methods of Maria Montessori, CMS elementary and Adolescent Program classroom continue refining and unfolding the individuals that they will become, academically and socially as a citizen of the world.
Our Webb Road campus and Civic Road campus are within walking distance of each other. We are looking forward to embarking on our next adventure which will join both campuses together.
Both Webb & Civic Road Campuses hosts our annual Marketplace event, which is held prior to the winter break. The proceeds from Marketplace benefit needy families in the Tampa area, and is a great way for our school family to give back to the community. This campus also curates the CMS Student Art Show each year.
